We want to welcome Scott Silverman, new Library Director and Coordinator and Information Services, to Earlham! Scott arrived in August to our delight and we are thrilled to have him at Earlham. While he is working tirelessly on many projects, he also makes time to meet with alums especially when they are eager to donate important documents. When Herman White gave a convocation talk in fall 2009, White donated documents concerning student efforts to keep the library open on Saturday night. In the picture linked to below, you can view Scott accepting the documents, with a promise to digitize them. Well, we are still working on the digitizing, but we thank both Scott and Herman for giving this important piece of Earlham history to the Archives.

Friends Collection and College Archives
Welcome to the Friends Collection and Earlham College Archives. The Arthur and Kathleen Postle Archives and Friends Collection are named for the late Arthur Postle and his wife, Kathleen, the latter the donor who served the college for many years as a member of the faculty.
The collection consists of the Earlham College Archives and the Friends Collection, as well as a rare book collection. We welcome anyone interested in our collections to visit us.
